Instructions:
Grate the apples with their peel and soak them in sugar and rum for a few hours (or overnight).
Mix the marinated apples with the remaining ingredients, knead into a dough, and then divide the dough in half.
With wet hands, shape the dough pieces into loaves, place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, smooth them out with wet hands, and bake at 340°F for about 1 ½ hours.
Once cooled, store the apple bread in butter paper. It will keep for about 3 weeks.
